Well, what else! Never made hot cross buns before but as baking is current obsession, it had to be done. Couple of recipes were thought of but ended up making these from The Guardian after friend made them yesterday and said they were tremendous.
Easy to make but take a little time. I used sultanas, raisins, sour cherries, blueberries and cranberries, like the sourness from the cherries. Piping is rubbish but they taste fabulous!
Also making bread this weekend and possibly more of these if we run out by Sunday.
